Solution

The correct option is A 1 - b, 2 - d, 3 - c, 4 - a
AQI stands for Air Quality Index and is used by the government to address air quality of a particular place. Generally, a range of 0-500 is considered. Higher the AQI value, higher is the level of pollution in the air.

AQI value of 15 indicates that the air quality is good as it lies within the range 0-50.

AQI value such as 130 which lies in the range 100-150 indicates that the air can cause discomfort to sensitive people such as asthma patients, etc.

Air having AQI value ranging between 300-400, such as 310, can cause respiratory issues and if the value goes beyond 400, e.g., 456, then the air quality can cause fatal illnesses in life forms.

AQI is divided into 6 colour coded categories, each of which relate to a separate level of health concern.
