Solution

A) There are 1OH group.so it can donate One H+ so it is mono basic.
B) There are 3OH group.so it can donate three H+.so it is tri basic.
C) There are 2OH group. so it can donate two H+.So it is di basic.
Acid is any compound which can donate H+
OH group is an acid act as dones of H+ ion hence responsible for the acidic behaviour.
The 3OH group in basic acid doesn't give H+ .Since boron has vacant P orbital, when it reacts with water it forms a coordinate bond with it. Aften water donates its Ione pair to Boron.Hence a positive charge is created as oxygen. As oxygen is electronegative, positive charge is not stable on it. So a proton is removed and the product is B(OH)4.Hence it is mono basic. An acid which do not have ionise in H2O to give a proton is called a Aprotic acid.Hence from the above statement, Basic acid is Aprotic.
