Solution

The number of unpaired electron for Cr3+,Fe2+,Ni2+and Mn2+ is 3, 4, 2 and 5 respectively.

Magnetic moment calculated by n(n+2).

Magnetic moment of Cr3+= 3(3+2) = 15.

Magnetic moment of Fe2+ = 4(4+2) = 24.

Magnetic moment of Ni2+ = 2(2+2) = 8.

Magnetic moment of Mn2+ = 5(5+2) = 35.
