Solution

Incomplete dominance, codominance and polygenes are deviations from Mendel’s monogenic inheritance patterns. In incomplete dominance, neither of the parents express themselves in the heterozygous condition, a new phenotype appears in the F1generation and only homozygous conditions retain parental characters, which we get to in the case of Mirabilis jalapa or 4 O’clock plant flower.
Codominance is a condition in which neither of the phenotypes gets masked or suppressed in the heterozygous condition, both the traits get expressed independently, which we get to see in the case of blood typing in human beings when both alleles IA and IBcome together, then the phenotypes of both the sugars get expressed and the blood group is called AB type.
Polygenes are several genes that work in synergy to produce a phenotype and exhibit an additive effect in the expression of the phenotype of a trait. Polygenic inheritance governs the variation in the colour of the skin in humans.
