It is an articulated, tracheated hexapod and has the head, thorax, and abdomen as body segments, it belongs to class Insecta and order Diptera as functional forewings for flying, small hindwings and mouth adapted for sucking. It belongs to family Muscidae due to the presence of sucking mouth appendages.
