Solution

The correct option is A (a)-(i), (b)-(ii), (c)-(iii), (d)-(iv)
The rotation period of the Earth is 24 hrs
This is equivalent to 24*3600 = 8.64 ×104 s = 105 s
Similarly, the revolution period of earth is 365 days = 107 s
The velocity of a light wave is 108 m/s and its wavelength is 107 m
Thus, using, v=νλ, the order of time is 1015
And thereby, the time period of sound wave is 103 s
