In Mond's process, impure nickel can easily react with carbon monoxide to form nickel carbonyl gas and impurites remains as solids. When that gas is heated, we will get pure Ni metal.
Van Arkel process is used to refine titanium and zirconium metal. In this method nitrogen and oxygen impurites are removed by heating the impure metal in the evacuated vessel with iodine.
Cupellation process is used to seperate gold, silver from base metals.
To get highly pure germanium zone refining process is used. In this method impurities are are colloected from different parts of ingot.
