Article 50 of the Constitution of India deals with the separation of judiciary from the executive. It puts an obligation on the state regarding the same.
Article 143 provides for the advisory jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. It authorizes the president to seek the opinion of the Supreme Court in two matters:
a) On any question of law or fact I public importance which has arisen or which is likely to arise.
b) On any dispute arising out of any pre-constitution treaty, agreement, covenant, engagement or other similar instruments.
Article 61 provides the procedure for the impeachment of the President. The President can be removed from office by a process of impeachment for 'violation of the Constitution'.
Article 320 provides for the functions of Union Public Service Commission. The Union Public Service Commission is the central recruiting agency in India.
