Bombay Plan was drafted by GD Birla and JRD Tata after consultation with eight industrialists. It aimed India's strategy for development post independence and supported state intervention. Gandhian Plan was a modest plan put forward by Shriman Narayan Agarwal. Peoples Plan was a radial Marxist plan which stressed on nationalisation of the economy. It was drafted by MN Roy. Sarvodaya Plan, which was based Vinoba Bhave's idea of Sarvodaya, was drafted by Jai Prakash Narayan. It was socialist plan which suggested improvement in agriculture, abolition of foreign technology, introduction of land reforms and decentralised planning.
