Solution

The correct option is A a-h,b-e,c-f, d-g.
Following experiments are used to calculate the given parameters in laboratory.

It demonstrates the relationship between pressure and temperature of a given mass gas at a fixed volume, thus verifying Charle's Law.
Clement and desormes apparatus: A mass of dry air under a small pressure is enclosed in a large vessel having a gas-tight valve. The valve is opened for an instant permitting the pressure to become atmospheric and causing the temperature to be reduced. After the valve is closed, the gas warms up to room temperature and the pressure increases. From a knowledge of the initial and final pressures, the ratio of the specific heats is obtained.
Pressure coefficient expansion of gas is studied using Jolly's apparatus.

Regnault's apparatus: A steam bath is used to heat the solid of unknown specific heat by suspending it inside the inner compartment whose temperature can be measured accurately. The heating part is separated from the calorimeter by a sliding baffle that isolates it from heat gain from its influence.
