- Pure substance are the substances which are made up of same particles throughout. Their constituents cannot be separated physically.
- Mixture consists of two or more pure substances which can be separated physically.
There are two types of mixtures:
1. Homogneous mixture: In this mixture, the components are uniformily distributed and cannot be seen by naked eyes.
2. Heterogeneous mixtures: This type of mixture is made up of different substances that are not uniformly distributed.
