Copper T :
Copper T is a ‘T’ shaped, copper ion releasing intrauterine contraceptive device which is placed in the female uterus. Copper ions released in the uterus suppress the motility of sperms, so they cannot swim and reach the fallopian tube for fertilisation.

Implants :
Progesterone - estrogen combination or only progesterone can be used in the form of injections or implants by females. These implants will release progesterone and work to delay ovulation or prevent fertilisation.
