Solution

(A) 2,4-dinitrophenol gives reaction with Na and also with NaHCO3.
Due to the presence of two electron withdrawing nitro groups, the acidity of phenol is enhanced.
(B) Benzene sulphonic acid gives reaction with Na and also with NaHCO3.
It gives purple color when soda extract of the compound reacts with Na2[Fe(CN)5NO].
This is as per test for sulphur.
(C) 4-nitro benzene sulphonic acid gives reaction with Na and also with NaHCO3.
It gives blood red color when soda extract of the compound reacts with FeCl3.
(D) Benzoic acid gives reaction with Na. It gives reaction with NaHCO3 also.
Hence, the correct match is A=1,2 ; B=1,2,4 ; C=1,2,3 and D=1,2.
