We have to find steps for solving the inequation 5x + 6 < 12

To find the solution to inequation, we have to subtitute the value of x = 1 in the inequation 5x + 6 < 12

∴ Step 1 will be "Put x = 1 in the LHS of the inequation".

Next, on putting x = 1, we will get:
LHS=5x+6=5×1+6=11

Step 2 will be "5×1+6=11"
in LHS

After putting the value, we observe:
11 < 12

So, LHS < RHS.

∴ Step 3 will be "LHS < RHS"

Finally. we have to write the final value of the solution.

∴ Step 4 will be "x = 1 is the solution."
