(C) : In rotation + translation, the object exhibits rotational as well as translational motion. Thus figures (1),(4) and (5) represent rotation and translation motion as the wheels of truck or cycle perform rotation motion while truck or cycle perform a translation motion.
(D) : The top in figure (3) precesses about the axis passing through the point O.
