Solution

Spermatheca is a receptacle in the reproductive tract which stores sperm in female cockroach during copulation.
The ootheca of cockroaches is made by secretions from two colleterial glands. It is a capsule which encases fertilised eggs.
Some cockroach species drop the egg case, while other species carry it until the eggs are ready to hatch. In still others, the ootheca is retracted into the body and protected in a brood pouch for further development.
Paurometabolous development refers to the type of development through nymphal stage.
