Solution

The correct option is B A - 4, B - 3, C - 1, D - 2
Simple squamous epithelia are found in alveoli and capillaries of lungs where gas exchange occurs, kidney glomerulus and tubules where filtration and diffusion processes form urine, capillaries where diffusion and osmosis occur.
The cuboidal cells have large, spherical and central nuclei. Simple cuboidal epithelia are found on the surface of ovaries, the lining of nephrons, the walls of the renal tubules, and parts of the eye and thyroid. On these surfaces, the cells perform secretion and absorption.
Exocrine glands are ducted glands i.e., these glands are provided with ducts to transport their secretions. E.g., salivary glands, pancres etc. Endocrine glands are ductless glands i.e., they release their secretions directly into the bloodstream.
