Tendons are the connective tissue that have a lot of collagen fibers in them. Tendons usually connect muscles to bones. They also allow us to move and flexibility. Ligament is another fibrous connective tissue that connects bone to bone. Ligaments have different shapes and sizes in our body. They're flexible enough to move and support the bones.
Cartilage is a smooth, elastic connective tissue. It consists of a firm, elastic matrix called chondrin which is secreted by cells called chondrocytes.
