Solution

The correct option is C p - iii, q - i, r - ii, s - iv
Emphysema is also known as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and is commonly seen among smokers. It involves gradual damage of lung tissue, especially the thinning and destruction of the alveoli or air sacs, resulting in breathing difficulties among other symptoms. Workers in coal mines may suffer from a disease commonly known as black lung disease, due to constant exposure to coal dust. Asthma is a chronic lung disease that inflames and narrows down the airways in the lungs, and is hence, known as inflammatory airway disease. Byssinosis or brown lung disease is yet another occupational lung disease seen among workers in cotton processing and fabric manufacture industries. This is caused due to constant inhalation of cotton dust or fibres of flax, hemp etc.
