Match the following:
I. Coating solar cooker with black painta. Causes greenhouse effect inside the cookerII. Concave mirrorb. Absorbs more heatIII. Glass sheet coveringc. Converge heat at one point
I-b, II-c, III-a
Solar cookers use the heat from the sun for cooking food. The functions of different components of the solar cooker are as follows:
1. Glass lid - covers the cover from the top and creates greenhouse effect inside the cooker
2. Black painted surface - the surface of the solar cooker is painted black as black absorbs maximum solar energy. This increases the temperature inside the solar cooker.
3. Plane Mirror - plane mirror as a reflector and reflects more rays inside the cooker.
4. Concave mirror - concave mirrors are provided in the solar cookers for concentrating solar rays at one point. This increase the maximum temperature reached inside the solar cooker.
5. Insulator - an insulator is used to cover the solar cooker from outside so that the heat is not lost out of the cooker.
