Ringworm is a very common skin infection that can be caused by three different fungi-Microsporum, Trichophyton or Epidermophyton. The infection initially appears as red patches on the affected areas that spreads to different areas of the body affecting scalp, nails, feet, groin and beard.
The fungus grows well in moist environments like showers, bathroom floors and walls, in between the skin folds etc. It can be transmit by skin contact with an infected person or pets. It can also spread by sharing sweaty clothes, comb, damp towels and brushes.

Cholera disease is caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. This type of bacteria is usually present in contaminated food and water. It is also found in places where there is a lack of sanitation facilities.

Plague is a class of dangerous, life-threatening and infectious disease mainly caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. The bacterium is mainly found in rodents (rats). The insects that feed on the blood of these animals act as vectors and transmit the disease. It can also spread from person to person through the air or by any other means of contact.

Pneumonia is a respiratory disorder. It leads to acute infection and inflammation of alveoli. They normally spread via air-borne droplets from a cough or sneeze.
