Solution

The outermost zone is also known as the non-luminous zone. It is the hottest among all the zones and has a temperature of approximately 1400C. The colour of the outermost zone is blue due to the complete combustion of wax as there is a sufficient supply of air around it.

The middle zone is also known as the luminous zone. It is less hot than the outermost zone and has a temperature of approximately 1200C. The colour of the middle zone is yellow due to the incomplete combustion of wax as there is an insufficient supply of air in this zone.

The innermost zone is also known as the dark zone.
It is the least hot among all the zones and has a temperature of approximately 600C. The innermost zone is black in colour and contains unburnt wax vapours.
