Kepler's 2nd law is the law of areas, which states that the line joining the planet and the Sun sweeps equal areas in equal intervals of time.
Kepler's 3rd law is the law of periods, which states that the square of planet's orbital period around the Sun is directly proportional to the cube of mean distance of the planet from the Sun i.e. T2∝r3.
