Solution

The correct option is A A-2, B-3, C-1, D-4
During electrolysis of dilute aqueous sodium sulphate solution with inert electrodes, water dissociates to form hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is evolved at cathode and oxygen is evolved at anode.
During electrolysis of 50 % sulfuric acid solution using platinum electrodes, hydrogen is evolved at cathode and H2S2O8 is formed at anode.
During electrolysis of aqueous silver nitrate using inert electrodes, at anode, oxygen is evolved from water and at cathode, silver is deposited.
During electrolysis of aqueous silver nitrate using silver electrodes, at anode silver metal is oxidized to silver ions, and at cathode, silver ions are reduced to silver metal.
