A zoospore is an asexual spore which is produced by certain algae, fungi and protozoan. It is capable of swimming by means of flagella. Ascospore is the spore produced by an ascus. This type of spore is seen in fungi belonging to Ascomycota. Eight ascospores are present in the single ascus.
