Solution

Mutation – It is a sudden and directionless change in a DNA sequence which can be inherited by the next generation. It can bring significant change in the mutated organism.

Genetic recombination – It is the occurrence of new genetic combination which is a product of sexual reproduction. It occurs duet to the crossing over of non-sister homologous chromosomes during meiosis.

Gene migration – It is the movement of genes outside the population affecting the allele frequency. It is caused by emigration or immigrations of large number of individuals.

Genetic drift - Genetic drift describes random fluctuations in the numbers of gene variants in a population. Genetic drift takes place when the occurrence of alleles increases and decreases by chance over a period of time.
