Solution

Plastids are organelles found in plants and algae. They are responsible for manufacturing and storing food.
Chloroplasts, chromoplasts, and leucoplasts are the three types of plastids.
Chloroplasts contains the green coloured pigment called chlorophyll, which help in absorbing sunlight for photosynthesis.
Chromoplasts are plastids found in coloured parts of plants such as petals, pericarp of the fruits, etc., other than green.
Leucoplasts are the colourless plastids, involved in the storage of carbohydrates, fats, and oils and proteins.
