Properties of a square:

A square is parallelogram. Its opposite sides are parallel and equal.
Length of all its sides are equal.
Its interior angles are equal and each of the interior angles is 90.
The diagonals of a square bisect each other and are equal.


Properties of a rectangle:
A rectangle is also a parallelogram. Its opposite sides are parallel and equal.
All angles are equal to 90.
The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other and are equal.

Properties of a Kite:
There are two pairs of equal sides as shown in the figure.
One of the diagonals bisect the other diagonal perpendicularly. The diagonal BD is bisected perpendicularly by AC in the above figure.
One of the diagonals bisect the apex angles. The diagonal AC bisects the apex angles ∠A and ∠C.
