Solution

Neurons that receive information from our sensory organs and transmit it to the central nervous system are called afferent neurons. Neurons that send impulses from the central nervous system to the limbs and organs are called efferent neurons.
The somatic nervous system is associated with the voluntary control of body movements. It consists of two sets of nerves : the cranial nerves that arise from the brain and the spinal nerves that arise from the spinal cord.
