Solution

As of 2011, Dalits made up 16.6% of our population, while Adivasis constitute 8.6% of the country’s population. The government has recognised another group of castes called Other Backward Classes or OBCs, but the census doesn’t count them yet. According to a survey conducted by the National Sample Survey Office or NSSO, between 2004 and 2005, the population of the OBCs was around 41%.
