Solution

1. Potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) test : The orange coloured (K2Cr2O7) turns green in the presence of sulphuric acid.

2. Ammonia test: Dense white fumes of ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) confirms the presence of sulphuric acid (H2SO4).

Conc. H2SO4(aq) + NaCl(s) → HCl(g) + NaHSO4(aq)NH3(g) + HCl(g) →NH4Cl(s)

3. Barium sulphate test: A white precipitate of barium sulphate (Ba2SO4)
confirms the presence of sulphuric acid (H2SO4).

BaCl2(aq) + H2SO4(aq) → BaSO4(ppt.)
