To form complete image of an object, the plane mirror needs to be atleast half of the size (height) of the object. If the mirror is at the eye level then the length of the mirror should be half the height of the observer so that he can see himself completely in the mirror.
The given height of the students are 1.4 m, 1.6 m, 1.8 m and 2 m. Hence the minimum length of the mirrors so that they can completely see themselves in the mirror are 0.7 m, 0.8 m, 0.9 m and 1.0 m respectively.
