Solution

In 1733 John Kay invented the flying shuttle which increased the speed of weaving of cloth. In 1764, James Hargreaves invented the spinning jenny which was able to spin eight threads together. Richard Arkwright invented the water frame. The spinning frame in this machine used water power instead of manpower. In 1779, Samuel Crompton invented the spinning mule which was a combination of both the spinning jenny and the water frame.
