Solution

Since the boiling point of Zinc is way back at 1180 K, the zinc formed immediately vaporizes and distills over leaving behind non-volatile impurities such as Cadmium, Lead and Iron. This gas containing zinc vapours is collected and cooled to yield solid zinc. This crude metal is called Spelter. Hence, Zn is separated by distillation.
Liquation is a metallurgical method for separating metals from an ore or alloy. It is used for purification of Cu and Sn.
Zone refining is a method of purifying a crystalline solid, typically a semiconductor or metal, by causing a narrow molten zone to travel slowly along an otherwise solid rod or bar to one end, at which impurities become concentrated. It is used for purification of Ge
Vapour phase refining. Vapour phase refining is the process of refining metal by converting it into its volatile compound and then, decomposing it to obtain a pure metal. This method is used to purify Ni by Mond's process.
Hence, A4, B3, 5, C1, D2.
