=2×(atomic mass of oxygen) = 2×(16)=32 u

Molecular mass of carbon dioxide (CO2)
=2×(atomic mass of oxygen)+ 1×(atomic mass of carbon) =2×(16)+1×(12)=44 u

Molecular mass of water (H2O)
=2×(atomic mass of hydrogen)+ 1×(atomic mass of oxygen) =2×(1)+16=18 u

Hence, the molecular mass of oxygen molecule is 32, the molecular mass of carbon dioxide is 44 and the molecular mass of water is 18.
