  • A- 3: Antidiuretic hormone which is secreted by the hypothalamus and released by the posterior part of the pituitary gland causes excretion of water from the kidneys. The deficiency or the disorder prognathism may result in protruded jaws, excessive urination, and thirst.
  • B- 5: The thyroid gland is responsible for the secretion of the thyroxine which is responsible for growth and development. The deficiency or disorder of the hormone may result in protrusion of the tongue, tiredness, fatigue, and a decrease in the metabolic rate.
  • C- 6: The parathyroid gland is responsible for parathormone which regulates the level of calcium in the blood and the uptake by the bones. The deficiency of this syndrome may cause loss of calcium ions from the bones. This will result in the state called soft bones which can be easily damaged by fractures.
  • D- 1: The ovary releases progesterone which causes the uterus to prepare for implantation. The cell lining of the endometrium thickens and if the egg is fertilized the zygote is implanted in the uterus. The disorder related to this hormone may cause an irregular menstrual cycle.
