Let the number be 'a' that is to be subtracted from the polynomial.
5x+8a is divisible by x1. So, 5+8a=0a=13.
x22x+1a is divisible by x1. So, 12+1a=0a=0.
x3+x2+1a is divisible by x1. So, 1+1+1a=0a=3.
