Solution

To move to quadrant 1–––––––––– from origin, we need to move right in the x-axis–––––––––––––––––– and up along the y-axis–––––––––––––––––––. So, in the first quadrant, both x and y coordinates are positive.

To move to quadrant 2–––––––––– from origin, we need to move left in the x-axis–––––––––––––––– and up along the y-axis–––––––––––––––––––. So, in the second quadrant, x coordinate becomes negative and y coordinate remains positive.

To move to quadrant 3–––––––––– from origin, we need to move left in the x-axis–––––––––––––––– and down along the y-axis––––––––––––––––––––––. So, in the third quadrant, both x and y coordinates are negative.

To reach at quadrant 4–––––––––– from origin, we need to move right in the x-axis–––––––––––––––––– and down along the y-axis––––––––––––––––––––––. So, in the fourth quadrant, x coordinate becomes positive and y coordinate becomes negative.
