2. Teflon consists of hydrocarbon and fluorine. It has London dispersion forces due to low electronegativity of fluorine.

4. Nylon is a strong fibre that can hold a strong amount of weight so it is used for making parachutes and stockings.
5. Melamine is thermosetting plastic that does not meltdown on heating so it is used for making clothes of fireman.
6. Cotton and jute are biodegradable because they can be decomposed easily by action of microorganisms.
