Solution

The correct option is A A-2, B-1, C-4, D-3
Mature microspore is called as pollen grain. It is haploid in nature and is formed as a result of meiosis from megaspore mother cell which is diploid in nature. Sporopollenin is the substance present in the exine layer of pollen grain. It provides the tough structure for the outer cover of pollen grains. Megasporangium is also called as female gametophyte, known as female gametophyte. Fertilization takes place in megasporangium and forms zygote. The ovule is attached to the ovary wall until maturity by a short stalk called funiculus. The area of attachment to the ovary wall is referred to as the placenta.
