Matter around us can exist in there diffusates, states, namely, solid, liquid and gas, correct order of their compressibility is:
Open in App
Solution
Gases are more compressible because most of the volume of a gas
is composed of the large amounts of empty space between the gas particles.
Hence intermolecular spaces are greater in gases than liquids which in turn greater than solids.
Therefore compressibility order is Gases>Liquids>Solids
