  4. Complex carbohydrates are obtained from whole grains like barley, brown rice, oatmeal, popcorn, whole-wheat bread, etc.
  5. Rice provides carbohydrates to our body depending on their forms that is they may be long-grain cooked rice or short-grain cooked rice.
  6. Starchy vegetables like corn, white potatoes, green peas, etc. provide three to four times more carbohydrates than non-starchy ones.
