We know that,

$=\frac{42}{50}\times 100\%$

$=\frac{4200}{50}\%$

$=\frac{420}{5}\%$

$=84\%$

Step2:- Finding the percentage obtained by Maya in a science test is as follows:-

Marks obtained in science $=54$

Total marks$=60$.

We know that,

$\%$ obtained by Maya in a science test $=\frac{Marksobtainedinscience}{Totalmarks}\times 100$

$=\frac{54}{60}\times 100\%$

$=\frac{5400}{60}\%$

$=\frac{540}{6}\%$

$=90\%$
