Let the other two observations are x1,x2
Then ¯¯¯x=x1+x2+1+2+65=4.4
x1+x2=13 (1)

σ2=8.24=155i=1x2i(¯¯¯x)2
5(8.24+19.36)=5i=1x2i
5×27.6=1+4+36+x21+x22
x21+x22=97 (2)

From (1) and (2),
x1=4,x2=9
or x1=9,x2=4
