Solution

(i) 60°
Its supplement = 180°- 60° =120°

(ii) 138°
Its supplement = 180°- 138° =42°

(iii)

35th of a right angle i.e., 35×90°= 54°

∴ Its supplement = 180°- 54° =126°

(iv) 180-r°

Its supplement = 180°- 180-r° =r°

(v) 90+r°

Its supplement=180°- 90+r° = 180°-90°-r° = 90-r°

(vi) 87°20'43''

Its supplement=180°- 87° 20'43'' = 179°59'60''- 87° 20'43'' =179°-87°59'-20'60''-43''= 92°39'17''

(vii) 124°28'40''

Its supplement=180°- 124° 28'40'' = 179°59'60''- 124° 28'40'' =179°-124°59'-28'60''-40''= 55°31'20''

(viii) 108°48'32''

Its supplement=180°- 108° 48'32'' = 179°59'60''- 108° 48'32'' =179°-108°59'-48'60''-32''= 71°11'28''
