Meat does not contains much of glycogen as all the excess glucose present in body is converted to glycogen and is stored in the liver.
Some of the glycogen is stored in muscle but is as less as 12%. Major portion, i.e., 100120gm of glycogen is stored in liver cells and are released and broken down when needed.
