Median of data is 14 .what is the median of the data if each observation is multiplied by 2 and why?

If median of a data is 14 and it is multiplied by 2 then the answer would be
14*2 = 28

If the number of observations is even, then the median is the average of 2 observations, if we multiply all observations by 2, the average is also multiplied by 2 and thus the median is multiplied by 2.

so , we multiplied 14 with 2 and the answer is 28.
