Open in App
Solution

The weight of one box = 4 kg 500 g

1 kg = 1,000 g
= 4 ×1000 g + 500 g=4,500 g
Maximum load can be loaded in the van = 800 kg
= 800 ×1,000 g = 8,00,000 g
Number of boxes =8,00,000 ÷ 4,500

Therefore, 177 boxes can be loaded. But the van can also carry 3,500 g or 3.5 kgs more after the 177 boxes are loaded.
