a. The malaria is caused by Plasmodium parasite which is spread by the female Anopheles mosquitoes. The female Anopheles mosquitoes get Plasmodium parasite from the infected person along with the blood and release in the healthy person along with saliva during the sucking blood.
b. Vector is the name given to such organisms that transmit the diseases from infected to healthy people.
c. The malaria is an endemic disease because it exists permanently in a particular region.
d. The spread of malaria can be controlled by -
  1. Bite prevention
  2. Awareness of risk
  3. Malaria prevention tablets
  4. Diagnosis in the presence of malaria symptoms
