It is an endothermic reversible process. It involves a decrease in volume. So by Le Chatelier's principle:-
(a) On increasing pressure, equilibrium shifts towards the direction of decrease in volume. So, increasing pressure favour change of ice to water.
(b) Since the change of ice to water is the endothermic process, increase in temperature tends to shift the equilibrium to right. So, it favours the melting of ice.
